Week 6 Brendon Collins

I chose this picture that I took when I went to Myrtle Creek Botanical Gardens. It is a picture of my friend's stagecraft project and I chose this picture in particular because I really enjoyed how the sunlight shone on the moss on the roof of the house. The angle that the sunlight is coming at reflects in a way that makes the house look very homey and warm, welcoming and almost fairy like. Because of the angle of the house there is a shadow on the side and mostly only the front and top of the house are lit. The sunlight is incredibly bright in this picture and bounces off all the white and yellows on the house in a way that makes them look like they're glowing and I really enjoy that effect.

  1. Wow it almost looks like the background is in black and white while only the object is in color! The sunlight is so bright and is really allowing the rich greens and reds pop! Great sense of source as well, as only the right side and the top of the house is lit, while the front and opposite side are in shadow! Nice work!
