Arturo Gonzalez Week 14
Week 14 Lighting Blog
Final entry for Lighting blog. π π· π
The shadows that were cast by the Sun against the red bricks of the Luckman Fine Arts and my friend Christy were very warm and welcoming. After lighting rehearsal for the Spring Dance Concert, the natural light from the Sun outside was peaceful especially after being inside the cold theater for almost four hours. I had this sense of peace, hope, and power when I saw the striking angles of the light and shadows. What was really moving was the power of the Sun's warm light. With this upcoming week being my last dance concert as an undergrad and with commencement in less than 15 days, I felt trust in the Sun's warmth. Trust in the process of what is to come in this next chapter of my life.

I would like to extend my gratitude and appreciation in this post to this class and for everyone's posts and lighting designs in class. Reading the blogs were inspiring for me to view light differently and appreciate it in ways I could not imagine. Thank you, everyone. ☀️Asheππ

Gorgeous post and what a beautiful sentiment! There is nothing better than basking in beautiful warm sunlight after spending a day inside a dark theater playing with light :) Lovely commentary and gorgeous natural dance lighting! :)
