WEEK 2 Lighting Blog

LUIS NAVARRETE

While taking this picture I felt a lot of things running through my mind. For one I see two perspective, I see one where we can see far in the distance a clear blue sky that the rainy clouds have not hit and in that you can see in the edge of the building the rays of the sun shining on that side.  The second thing that came to my mind is that looking deeper to the edge on the far right of the photo it gets darker and you can even see the  darkness the clouds bring to this photo and all it surrounds. As this darkness hits everywhere except where the sky is still blue and the rays of sunshine reflect upon,  it shows its reflection on the pavement showing the purity that exist that we can grasp or reach to. In that I felt peace and beauty along with that I felt that even with all that goes in this world referencing that the darkness is what is wrong and as it surrounds us there is that clear ray of hope; that purity that exist and I felt that in this picture as I looked towards the blue sky that is far in the distance. Along with this I felt the aspect designers feel when they deal with the concept of atmosphere and sculpting and I felt that intensity in this picture as those two concept are in this picture as to how i describes in my perspective.

  1. OOOOh what a beautiful picture! I love that hazy reflection quality, those almost pastel colors and yes, that definite contrast between light and dark, between the future and the present. Really nice work!
