Patrick M. Kong Lighting Week #2
Today I stayed at home due to rainy weather. As I was walking downstairs to the living room I noticed a shining glimmer light shooting at the floor that bounced off a wall. I took a picture of it because it reminded me of working with lights at the backstage. The picture itself may not seem that artistic, but if you look at it there are many abstract themes that pop up. It brought my back to my past when I was a kid, where we would take some of the most simple things and create a story that tells a thousand words.

I love the simplicity and geometric composition to this photo! Lighting is creating a lot of depth with the contrast between light and shadow. There is also a very clear source of light, even if we're not sure what that source is, the directionality of the beam of light at the bottom makes us feel like we are heading towards something positive!
